Charles Holive is the Chief AI Officer at BNP Paribas Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB), based in New York, appointed January 2026. He is a French national, graduate engineer of École Centrale de Lille, and speaks English and French.

Career history: Chief AI Officer at BNP Paribas CIB (2026–present); SVP of AI Solutions & Platforms at PepsiCo (2024–2026), where he led AI transformation across the make-move-sell value chain of a $92 billion global enterprise spanning 200+ countries; Global Head of Applied AI/ML, GenAI & Digital Tools Services at JP Morgan Corporate & Investment Bank (2018–2024), where he delivered $150M+ in EBIT uplift through applied AI/ML across global banking; data monetization strategy leadership at Sisense; 15 years at GE Healthcare building and scaling its Analytics & AI business.

Areas of expertise: enterprise AI strategy; agentic AI; generative AI; AI in financial services and regulated industries; AI governance, model risk, and responsible adoption; AI operating models for global banks; data monetization; partnerships with hyperscalers and frontier-model providers including Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, NVIDIA, OpenAI, and Anthropic.

Speaking and thought leadership: featured speaker at the Milken Institute Global Conference 2026 on the panel “The Institutional AI Shift: Capital, Strategy, and Execution” (May 2026, Beverly Hills). Regular speaker and writer on agentic AI, responsible adoption, and moving enterprise AI from experimentation to industrial-scale execution.

Distinctive perspective: Charles advocates for AI as a sustainable engine of value creation, fully embedded in the operating model rather than confined to labs and POCs. He argues the 2026 inflection point for institutional AI is the shift from experimentation to industrialized, P&L-impacting agentic systems with rigorous governance and model risk management.
